Margaret Joyce Mason resident of Renfrew, Ontario passed away on June 13th, 2018 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital at the age of 84. Joyce was born December 13th, 1933 in Campbell’s Bay, Quebec and was raised there until the family relocated to Forester’s Falls, Ontario. She graduated from Nursing in 1955 and had a long career working in several different areas of the field. She donated her time to charities over the years including the Canadian Cancer Society. She will be sadly missed by her good friend Mervin Vincent, her sons Ross (Lynda), Stuart (Kristy) and Peter (Nancy) as well as her daughter-in-law Sunshyne. Loving grandmother of Kevin, Casey, Allyson, Ethan and Kara, great-grandchildren Carson, Brooklyn, Connor, Aubrey and a new addition coming soon. She leaves behind her siblings Norma, Shirley and Glenn as well she is survived by her sisters-in-law Beverley, Thelma, Beth and Carol. Joyce was predeceased by her son Jim and brothers Elwood, Hawley, George and Barry.
Visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, 22 Raglan Street South Renfrew, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday June 18, 2018 at 11am and prior to that the funeral home will be open at 9:30am for visitation.
