Obituary for Averil Emeline Moore (Thrasher)
Passed away peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Thursday, February 25, 2021 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Moore. Dearly beloved and wonderful mother of Elaine (Bob Whillans) of Haley Station, Joan (Jim Bradley) of Renfrew and Douglas (Marilyn) of Eganville.
Loving grandmother of Tomas (Kylie), Daniel, Matthew (Benedicte), Michael, Nicole and Andrew and great grandmother of Cora. Averil is survived by her sister Laura Bilson and sister in law Helen Thrasher.
Predeceased by her parents Donald and Milvena (Cowie) Thrasher and her siblings John, Harvey Thrasher and Eileen Bromley.
Averil's final care has been entrusted to the Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Respecting her wishes, she will be laid to rest beside her husband Jim in the Melville United Cemetery, Eganville with services held in the spring.
