Basil William Fick passed away, peacefully, at Hospice Renfrew on Friday, February 3, 2017. He was 88. Basil will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Eileen, sons, Jack and Robert, grandchildren, Toosje (Bryan Delaney)and Krysta (Dave Millard) and five great grandchildren.
Born in Eganville, Ontario, he and Eileen moved to Ottawa at a young age, where he was a long time employee at Hugh M. Grant Ltd. Upon retirement they moved to their home on Golden Lake, enjoying summers at the lake, and winters in Largo, Florida.
Professional arrangements have been entrusted to Zohr Funeral Home, Eganville, Ontario.There will be no funeral service or visitation, at his request.
