It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Dan Agnew on January 6, 2023 in his 76th year.

Predeceased by his wife Sharon Agnew. Loving partner and companion to Theresa Kutschke. Beloved father to Steven (Jackie) Agnew, Rob (Lisa) Agnew, Jennifer (Keith) Good and by the late infant Stewart (twin to Steve). Proud grandfather to Darcey (Dale), Brooke (Brendan), Carson, Emily (Blayne), Bree (Nick), Andy (Vanessa), Everton and Gracie. Great grandfather to Lennox and Nash. Dear brother to Frank (Ann), Elaine Snider, Sheila Brulottle (Al), Jerome (Rose), Kevin and Dave (Line). Dan is predeceased by his parents Harold and Helen Agnew, as well as his siblings Jean, Jimmy, Cecilia, Brian and Barry. He will be forever missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and a multitude of friends.

Dan loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He was a carpenter who was known to fix anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a strong love for his family and wasn’t afraid to let them know. He will be dearly missed. The family would like to extend their thanks to Peggy Dick, Tennisco Manor and Pikwakanagan Health Centre for all their support in Dan's final days.

Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 20th, 2023 at 11:00am at St. James the Less Catholic Church, Eganville. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Makwa Community Centre, Golden Lake at 12:30pm. There will be an open mic and music for all to enjoy as we celebrate and honour a beautiful life lived.
