It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, surrounded by her family on October 24, 2022 in her 91st Year.
Mom was born December 7, 1931 in the Township of South Algona.
Predeceased by her husband Harold in 1987, her parents Carl August and Emma Verch (Molzahn), and siblings Dorothy Bramburger, Ruby Hein, Gordon, Clarence, Eileen MacDonald, Willis, Burton and Welland (Survived by her sister-in-law Shirley Verch).
Cherished Mother of Sharon, Bryan (Dale), Donna Verch (Barry), Patti Sellner (Rudy) and Bruce (Tammy).
Caring Nan of Paula, Tracy, Amy, Krista, Alissa and Sasha.
Great Nan of Sofie, Peter, Connor, Charlotte, Kurtis, Carly, Elly and Evelyn.
She will be dearly missed by her friend Clarence and remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital and to the Renfrew County Paramedics.
Doreen's final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. A private graveside service will be held at Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
