Liz passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, January 13, 2023. Beloved wife of Walter. Loving mother of Mary-Jane (Alan Rush) and Susan (Patrick Davison). Granny to Stephen (Jamie) Rush and Sarah and Jack Davison. Liz will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and greatly missed by many friends.
Liz graduated from Toronto General Hospital as a Registered Nurse in 1960. She spent many years both practicing and teaching nursing. Liz was the co-founder of the Haliburton School of Fine Arts, now part of Fleming College, as well as one of the founding members of the Eganville Figure Skating Club. Long time, dedicated member of Melville United Church and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 353, Eganville.
Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20 from 10:00-11:00am at Melville United Church, Eganville, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am.
