WEDDERBURN, Ella Bernice

Born on April 19th, 1930 in Glencoe, Ontario, Ella passed away and joined her Lord on Saturday February 12th, 2022 at the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew, Ontario. A genuine and gentle soul, Ella lived her life with dignity, humour and kindness.
During the Depression Ella’s parents and siblings, like many through that time, moved frequently in search of work to Glencoe, London and Kingston before finally settling in Lanark, Ontario. It was in Lanark that she met her future husband, William Wedderburn, as a teenager. After finishing their educations they married and moved to Toronto where they flourished and in time gave birth to their three children. Over the years of their marriage, home was many places: Toronto, Calabogie, Kanata, White Lake ,Burnstown, all of Ontario and Leduc, Alberta but retired to the family home in Barryvale, Ontario.
Mom created a home wherever we lived. With joy, love and a lot of laughter, she guided us through life and quietly taught us the life lessons we needed to navigate the ups and downs of life. . We will be forever blessed by remembering the magic that was hers.
Ella is survived by her three children: Jennifer(Russ) Baich of Red Deer, Alta, William Wedderburn of Barryvale and Gordon(Gina) Wedderburn of Calabogie.
