Passed away peacefully July 24th, 2022 in her 81st year after a long battle with cancer. Predeceased by her beloved husband Carl, her parents Fred and Irene Schinzel and her sister Joyce O'Callaghan.
Loving mother of Deborah Holloway (Stanley), Lynda Thompson (Bob) and James McPhee.
Cherished Nana of Lindsay (Mitchel), Shayne (Stacey), Katie, Carter, Kendra (Travis), Brooklyn and great Nana to Raelyn, Blayke and Gabriel.
Survived by her sister Joan Scott (Gordon), brother-in-law Ron O’Callaghan and nephews Richard, David, Peter, Joseph and Warren.
Fondly remembered by so many friends and relatives as well as for her community involvement in the Deacon Garden Club, St. John’s United Church, Golden Lake Property Owners Association and Cuddles & Hugs Quilters.
Special thanks to her palliative care team at the Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital and the Ottawa General Hospital.
Arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 11:00am in St. John's United Church, 3230 Lake Dore Road, Golden Lake. Interment to follow at Golden Lake United Cemetery. All are welcome to a gathering of fellowship and refreshment following the interment at the Golden Lake United Camp, 64 McNee Drive, Golden Lake.
