Kranz, Garnet passed peacefully at Madawaska Valley Hospice, Barry’s Bay, Ontario on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the age of 87. Son of the late George and Hazel Kranz. Predeceased by his beloved wife Lois (Layman). Garnet was a loving brother to Rhoda (late Louis Kuehl), Georgina (late Allen Kuehl), Luella (Raymond Heideman) and Allen Kranz (late Donna Kranz). He will be cherished by his children, Wanda (late Jim Whelan) and Wade Kranz (Janet Williams), as well as his grandchildren; Christopher, Andrew and Julie Whelan and Kurt and Shane Kranz and his precious great-grandchildren, Kiera and James Whelan and Fiona, Clara and Hazel Kranz.

Professional services were entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe. Due to Covid distancing restrictions, Garnet’s family is working on a Celebration of Life, planned for May 2021, again Covid and weather permitting, details are to be determined.
