Obituary for Geraldine Josephine Duggan (Bielawski)

It is with great sadness that the family marks the passing of Geraldine Duggan at her home on Thursday, June 25, 2020 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of John T. Duggan.
Loving mother to her four sons and devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by Joseph and Heather with their boys Trent and Callum of Ottawa, Patrick and Denny with their own four boys Will, Dan, Jamie, and Matthew of Milton, Edmond and Anna of Victoria, BC, and Raymond and Tricia, with the sole granddaughter in the family, Alex of Kingston, ON. Geraldine is survived by her sisters Laura (Late Gerald Egan), and Gertrude (Late Stanley Visneskie), and her brothers Michael Bielawski (Late Rita) and Raymond (Caroline) Bielawski as well as her brother-in-law Albert Prince and sisters-in-law, Dell Carruthers and Irene Bielawski. Predeceased by her daughter Mary, parents Joseph & Bella Bielawski, brother Ambrose and sisters Julia Prince and Theresa Prince.

Geraldine was a very private person, but a selfless giver of her time and efforts. She was often baking buns, pies and desserts for her family, friends or for an event, or was sewing, quilting, playing cards, running errands, packing, unpacking, keeping in touch by phone, or usually doing several of these things at once. In keeping with her strong faith she supported many charitable organizations including her favourite, Canadian Food For Children. Geraldine will also be remembered for her 50 plus years as a member of the Catholic Women’s League.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe.
There will be a private visitation for immediate family and a graveside service will be held at St. Casimir's Catholic Cemetery, Round Lake ON.

In remembrance of Geraldine, donations would be appreciated by the family to the charity of your choice. Tributes, condolences and donations can be made online at www.zohrfuneralhome.com
