Obituary for Helen Marie Bradbury (Cahill)
It is with heavy hearts that we say good-bye to our dear sweet family matriarch, Helen Marie (Cahill) Bradbury on October 19, 2020 at the age of 87, after a valiant effort Helen lost her battle to cancer. We were so blessed to be able to keep her in her own home where the family could surround her with love and support whenever they wanted.
Helen is survived by her loving family, her mate Shawn “Ted” Staines, her daughter Marilyn (Franklyn Scheer), her grandchildren Erika (Jon Tracey), Jesse Scheer, Ashlee Bradbury and Kelsey (Tavis McGurrin) plus 4 great-grandsons Kaleb Samson-Scheer, Brock Tracey, Aaron Tracey, and Aiden McGurrin as well as one great-granddaughter McGurrin due in November.
Survived by her sister-in-law Patsy Cahill.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Eric Cecil Bradbury, her son Warren Edward Bruce Bradbury, her parents Everett & Madeline (Arsenault) Cahill, her brothers Roland, John and Emmit, her sisters Irene, Joan, Eileen and Jean. She was also predeceased by all her in-laws in the Bradbury family.
Helen’s world was about family, flowers and faith and she enjoyed being involved in each of them.
Friends may call at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. ALL ATTENDEES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK/FACE COVERING AT ALL VISITATION AND FUNERAL TIMES. Funeral service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 2pm followed by interment Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
