Jeremy David Liedtke
January 18th, 1980 - October 6th, 2023
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jeremy after a brave two and a half year battle with cancer.
Jeremy was the loving spouse of Marlene Veaudry, cherished father of Aurora Gogolin and caring step-father of Travis (Jessie-Lynn Adam) and Brooklynn Jamieson.
He leaves behind his loving parents, David and Sharon (nee Contant) Liedtke, and brothers James and Jonathan (Fiona).
Jeremy was the caring grandson of Donna (nee Foy) and the late Henry Liedtke and the late Leonard and Louise (nee Coughlan) Contant. Jeremy was the caring son-in-law of Shirley and the late Moise Veaudry and brother-in-law of Michael and Elaine Hanlon.
He was a loving uncle to Jasmine, Shaelynn, Sophie, Akira, Chloe, Liam, and Jacob.
Jeremy will be fondly remembered and missed by all of his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends as well as his pets Ollie and Bentley.
Jeremy was a sweet, compassionate person with a ready smile and was always there if you needed him. He was a foodie, capable of creating something delicious out of nothing. He enjoyed throwing darts on Friday nights, playing SkipBo with the girls, and cheering on the Pembroke Lumber Kings, Toronto Blue Jays, and his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. Jeremy was a highway warrior for over 20 years, hauling throughout Ontario and Quebec.
Professional services have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Family and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life which will be held on Saturday, October 21st 2023, at 2:00pm at the Eganville Legion to share memories and stories of what a great man Jeremy was.
