Obituary for June Delores Drevniok (Krieger)

DREVNIOK (KRIEGER), June Dolores
June Drevniok (Krieger) passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital at the age of 89 years.

June was born in Palmer Rapids, Ontario, to Agnes Phanenhour and John Krieger. June was married to her beloved Leslie (deceased) in 1952. They soon moved to Québec for Leslie’s career with Hydro-Québec. In their retirement, they returned to the Renfrew area. Their hearts were always in Combermere and Palmer Rapids.

June dedicated herself to raising her four beloved sons, John (deceased) (Karen), Dean (Maureen), Peter (Colleen), and James. She delighted in spending time with and being “Nana June” to her grandchildren Darcy, Chelsea (Mike), Ulrika (Mark), Ben (Corinne), Daly (Ingrid), Thomas (Michelle), Sasha (Andrew), John (Anna), Jasmine (Diego), and Vanessa. She loved to see and hear stories about her great-grandchildren Kailyn, Avery, Colten, Nolan, Nora, Cormac, Stella, Niall, Beatrix, Peach, Emmet, Darvey, and Danyka. June will be fondly remembered by all for her love of family, her excellent cooking and baking, travel, and her beautiful quilting and sewing.

June is survived by her loving sisters, Eva Saville (Jim) and Dianne Ziebarth (Barry). She is predeceased by her brothers Murray (Evaline), John (Beverley), and Raymond.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the kind and caring staff at Quail Creek Retirement Residence and the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
