Obituary for Lise Rita Saumure (Aubry)
Lise Saumure was born August 6th 1945 in Ottawa, she passed away with dignity and grace on October 3rd 2022. She will be missed by all who knew her. She had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. She was an amazing woman and believed that her greatest achievement was her children. She is survived by sister Leona (Bob) and her 6 children Andre (Sue), Denis (Nancy), Leo (Kristie), Kimberley Ann (Keith), Beverly Ann (Kevin), and Sean. Proud Grandmother of Amelia, Tehl (Julie), Justin, Nolan, Emily, Pyper, Aiden, Alianna, and Desere.
Lise had many jobs in her lifetime but she really cherished her time at Finning Canada in Edmonton, which gave her a great deal of confidence and independence. Lise’s work here is now done. Her final appointment will be a reunion with the family and friends who have gone before her.
Lise’s family owes a debt of gratitude and thanks for the loving care she received from her niece and dear friend Nicole Berube in her last 6 months.
Lise’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church on October 11, 2022, at 11 am followed by a Celebration of Life at Denis and Nancy Saumure’s home. Interment to follow on Wednesday, October 12th at Notre Dame Cemetery, Ottawa at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Cancer Society in memory of Lise.
