Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her husband, Bruce Marshall (Sept. 4, 1984). Loving Mother of Richard Marshall (Debbie), Robert Marshall (Cathy), Wendy Mundt (Karl) and Gayle McGuire (Doug). Grandmother of Ashton (Lindsay), Spencer (Taisha), Bruce (Crystal), Samantha (Craig), Kaylie (Ian), James, Heather (Tony), Laura (Bill), Alex (Cassidy), Andrew and Alissa (James). Great-Grandmother of Riley, Jaxson, Gavin, Luca, Madelyn, Aria, Brianna, and Brooke. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, and her many cherished friends.
Predeceased by her parents Herman and Mary (Okum) Kranz, by her brothers, Norman Kranz (late Alison), Harold Kranz (late Barbara) by her sister, Marilyn Dickieson (late Arthur) and by her faithful companion Zaney.
Lois was a woman of profound talent, whether it be knitting, crocheting, sewing or painting. She had a very generous and giving nature, an infectious laugh, and dedicated many hours to making quilt tops for cancer patients.
Friends may call at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm A short visitation will be held Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:30am before a Funeral Service at St. John’s United Church, 3230 Lake Dore Road, Golden Lake at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. John’s United Church Cemetery, Island View Drive, Golden Lake.
