LOGAN, Lona “Jean”
November 23, 1926 – June 13, 2022
It is with great love and sorrow, that we announce the passing of Jean Logan on June 13, 2022 in her 96th year, in the Renfrew Victoria Hospital. Predeceased by her cherished husband William (Bill) Logan and only son Billy J. Logan (Libby). Kind, caring, generous, fun loving Mom of Linda (Michel Renaud), Jane (Andy Smith), Ruth (Joe Proulx), Lona (Reg Scully), Patricia (Bernie Luker), Alison (Donnie McNulty).
Grandma of seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late John L. and Nellie Forgie. Devoted and caring friend of Ann and Chris. Mom held a special place in her heart for nephew Peter (P.C.)
Jean started her career as a Registered Nurse at R.V.H. then married Bill and became a loving wife and mother. She was an avid gardener and member of the Horticultural Society, winning many awards. She belonged to the Renfrew Presbyterian Church and enjoyed helping the ladies aid, especially with the Christmas Bazaar (Touch and Take Table).
Mom enjoyed special times with family and friends at her cottage at Round Lake, property in Springtown, Admaston and home in Renfrew where she was still living.
Mom, you will always be remembered, never forgotten, forever in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Until we meet again Mom, love always.
Arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. In keeping with Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Renfrew Branch #148 or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
