Obituary for Pearl Amelia Richardson (Blower)

"Your good deeds will always lead you to a good life"

Pearl Amelia Richardson (née Blower)
August 22, 1944 - June 2, 2021

It is with immense sadness that our family announces the unexpected passing of our mother at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on June 2, 2021. Pearl accompanies her husband Jim of 57 years who passed away February 13, 2019, to be together again. She will also reunite with her loving parents Chester and Sylvia, and sister Doreen.

Born in Guildford, England and came to Canada in 1946. Pearl was the mother of three biological children, but was a mother to many extended family members. She was our confidant and anchor. Through tough times and good times she always had something positive to say. "If you have nothing good to say, don't say it." We will all miss our daily or weekly chats with her, and her cackling laugh. She was a fun loving, kind, strong willed and generous woman.

Pearl was very proud of her children and grand children. She loved spoiling the grand children and her dog Willow (whose groceries cost more than hers). She loved her TV series, lottery tickets and placing bets on sporting events with her son. She was a responsible shopaholic (wonder where we all get it from).

Will be missed deeply by her

Children: Christine (Adrian), Beverley (Paul), Bill (Tracey), Willow
Grandchildren: Dustin (Rénee), Summer, Hayley (Phil), Joshua, Austin (Cassie), Liam, Lochlan, Kris, Jamie
Great Grandchildren: Walker, Laken, Hudson, Adeline, Ariel, Aria
Sisters: Margaret, Eileen
and the extended Blower & Richardson families.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. As per Pearl's wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life for Jim & Pearl to take place July 16, 2022, on what would have been their 61st wedding anniversary in the Pembroke area. Final plans to be determined. In memory of Pearl, Please consider a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
