Rita passed away on January 3rd, 2023, at Marianhill Long Term Care in Pembroke at the age of 90. Rita had a very full life. She had a career as a school teacher for many years; a mother of 4 children, grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 5. She worked hard alongside her husband as a farmers' wife to create a lifestyle and legacy for themselves and their family. She loved to read, travel and garden. She was a member of the CWL, the horticultural society and senior centre in Eganville. She will be remembered by her family and friends.

Professional services entrusted to the care of Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Following Rita's wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. James The Less Catholic Church, Eganville on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11:00am.
