Obituary for Garry Carnegie
Garry Carnegie, beloved husband, father and Papa passed away peacefully on Saturday March 5, 2022 at Renfrew Victoria Hospital at age 87.
He will lovingly be remembered by his wife Shirley Carnegie (nee Quade) of 58 years, his son Richard (wife Laurie), grandchildren Tom, Owen and Cassie, his sister Elva Sally and is predeceased by his brother Dale and parents Emsley and Mary Carnegie. He will also be greatly missed by his many brothers and sisters-in-law and many other extended family and friends.
Garry was an avid outdoorsman who loved to spend time hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and 4 wheeling. His love for the outdoors could only be matched for the love he had for his family. One of his greatest joys was to spend time with his grandchildren. He will also be remembered for cheering on his favourite hockey team or spending time with a good book.
Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. Cremation has taken place, a service and interment will be held in the spring in Quadeville, Ontario.
