Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga Hospital, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Perrigo). Dear father of Jason, Curtis and predeceased by Darrell. He was predeceased by his beloved parents Catherine (Coulas) and Peter Yantha. He will be lovingly remembered by his step-mother Carmel Yantha. Bobby will be greatly missed by his siblings Dorothy (late Melbert/Sonny Giroux), Theresa Crowe, Darlene (late Richard Tabar), Pat (late Del Wilson), Wayne (Connie), Brian (Debbie), Larry (Sherrill), Clarence (Sandie), Drenda (late Richard Lorbetskie), Connie (late Tim Cram), Cynthia (Phil Karaba) and Shelley (Greg Lapenskie). Predeceased by brothers Chester (Jennifer), Barry and Benny. He is fondly remembered by his brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and many friends and family.
Bobby married his wife Barbara (Perrigo) on October 19, 1974 and they had three amazing sons. Bobby was a quiet man with a quick-witted humour and infectious laugh. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and Blue Jays fan. In his later years Bobby enjoyed going for walks, reading books and playing online card games with family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe on Sunday, December 18 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A brief visitation will be held on Monday morning from 9:30-10:30am. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church, Round Lake Centre at 11am. Spring interment in the parish cemetery.
