Roy Peter Eyamie passed away on May 30, 2022 at the age of 72, after a brief battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones who will continue to honour his memory by living their lives to the fullest.

Roy is survived by his life partner Giana, his daughter Jennifer (John), his sons Peter (Amie), Christopher (Shayla), step children Trevor, Josh (Julie), Rebecca (Brent) and Justin (Jaymie), his grandchildren Dylan (Kamie), Layla, Santana, Kohana, Ezrah, Cassandra, Mason, Tobias, Chloe, Kai and Noah, and his great grandson Declan. Roy will be truly loved and missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Among Roy’s love for bowling, darts, golf and cheating at canasta, his heart was with Giana and their Nona and Pappas Chip Truck. Roy’s days were spent waking up early to play his Boom Beach and Clash, enjoying family and friends visiting, hockey on the tv, bonfires in the yard and children running amok.

Roy’s love of travel took him all over North America in one capacity or another. As a tour bus driver for over 40 years, he enjoyed the stories and sites with complete strangers, to more recently enjoying the touristic route with Giana down South, out East and West.

Professional services have been entrusted to the care of Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe. Roy will be remembered on the morning of Saturday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Lions Hall, 18 Lake Street, Killaloe. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Roy. Tributes, condolences and donations may be made online at www.zohrfuneralhome.com
