Obituary for Ruth Purdie (Eggelston)
Purdie, Ruth (Eggelston) peacefully at Bonnechere Manor on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 with her children by her side, in her 104th year. Beloved wife of the late David F. Purdie. Loving mother of late John, Brian (Irene), David (Debbie), late Joyce (David McMahon). Predeceased by her parents John Eggelston & Harriet Burdett as well as her sisters Joyce and Beryl and her brother John. She will be dearly missed by her 7 grandchildren Kerri-Ann, William, Teri-Lynn, Jennifer, Brian, Leanne and Liam and her 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the homecare staff from C.C.A.C. along with the staff at Bonnechere Manor, Hospice Renfrew and Renfrew Victoria Hospital for their outstanding compassionate care of Ruth during her stay at each place.
Visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 from 1-2:30pm Funeral service will take place at Zohr Family Funeral Home -Renfrew on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 at 2:30 pm. Spring interment Thompsonville Cemetery.
