It is with great sadness that we announce that Shirley passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew, on February 13, 2023 at the age of 77.
Beloved wife of the late William Lavigne (2022). Loving mother of Wayne Richard (Evelyn) of Barrhaven, Sharron Richard of Renfrew and Carey Richard of Cobden. Cherished grandmother of Matthew Richard, Mark and Mitchell Collins and Andrew Richard. Loving step-mother to Barbara Lavigne (Merv), Susan Cameron (Albert), Mary Crouter (Rick) and their families. Dear sister of Brian, Robert and Dalton (Madonna) Cluff. Predeceased by her parents Hubert Cluff and Muriel (Black), brothers Gilbert, Delburn, Bev and an infant son. Dearly missed by sisters in law Lorraine Bretzlaff, Lorraine Cluff and Julia Cluff. Remembered fondly by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many cousins. Survived by the father of her children, Earl Richard.
A very special thank you to the amazing staff at the Bonnechere Manor who took excellent care of our Mom for the last 3.5 years. They are Dr. Andreas Di Paolo, nurses Sonia Mick, Shelly Lee, Chantel McDonald, Sarah and many other nurses and PSW's that showed her so much love and kindness while she was there.
Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 1:00pm in the Zohr Family Chapel. Spring interment in Otter Lake, Quebec.
