Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Teresa Margaret Sernoskie at the Valley Manor Nursing Home in Barry's Bay in her 88 year.

Loving wife of Raphael for 67 years. Cherished mother of David (Sharon) and Steven. Treasured grandmother to Stephanie and Lori Anne.

Predeceased by her parents Paul B. and Agnes (Burchat) Cybulskie, brothers Ray and Gilbert, sisters Leona and Elsie.

Teresa had a loving, gentle spirit with a zest for life, she loved to hunt, go ice fishing on the lake as well as gardening. She was an avid card player. She loved to bake and host great meals for family and friends which would always finish with card playing.

Teresa and Raphael loved to travel many places from Alaska to the Philippines, Jamaica, Florida and Texas to name a few. She was always the organizer and the navigator of all of their trips.

With an unwavering faith in God, She was kind and loving to all. She will be missed dearly by all.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Chen and all the staff and caregivers at Valley Manor for their spectacular care with Teresa.

Dear Ray:
We were all saddened to learn of Teresa's passing but our family has such fond memories of times that that were spent together when our families were young - visiting with you in Oakville, then again later on when Ben and I had moved back to the Ottawa Valley.
You, Teresa and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
