Rosetta "Rose" Wilhelmina (Springer) Quast passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Cobden on Friday, June 2nd, 2017 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Quast. Loving mother of Boyd (Diane) of Eganville, Shirley (Barclay Mayhew) of Kingston and Roy of Thornhill. Dear grandmother to Terry Quast of Arnprior, Daryl (Vidia) Quast of Brampton, Drew (Leanne) Mayhew of Kingston and Brett Mayhew of Toronto. Dear great-grandmother to Kira and Caedan Quast of Brampton, and Jacob and Deacon Mayhew of Kingston. Rose is predeceased by her brothers Florian and Lawrence Springer as well as her sisters Louise Yeik and Martha Behm. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, neighbours and extended family as well as her many euchre playing friends.
The family will receive friends at Anderson Funeral Home, 22 Raglan Street South, Renfrew, on Sunday June 4, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and again on Monday from noon - 1:30pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 5th, 2017 at 2:00 pm to St. James Lutheran Church Renfrew, with interment to follow at Rosebank Cemetery.
