WELK, Florence Anna Louisa Passed away peacefully at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Cobden on Friday May 20, 2016 at the age of 99 years. Florence is the beloved wife of the late Norman Welk. Loving mother to Edith (Herb Tiegs) and Ross (Linda). Dearest grandma to Daphne (Vernie Schruder), Nadine, Sheldon, Cheryl, Sandra (Tyler Swain), Shelley (Kevin Madigan), and Scott (Christine Martz), she is also great grandma to Eric, Erin, Amanda, Hunter and Abigail. Florence will be missed by her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Ferdinand and Mary (Kranz) Layman, as well as her sister Eileen (Arthur Kuehl).
Friends may call at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe on Sunday May 22, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Grace Evangelical Missionary Church, Killaloe on Monday at 10am.
