Michael Eno passed from this life in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 16, 2021. The family of Michael "Mickey" Eno request that everyone who has felt his kindness and appreciated his assistance over the years will remember him with fondness and love.

Michael is survived by his dear sister Catherine MacMaster, his loving wife Marian Eno (Pooler), cousin Muriel (Moody) Stewart and children Susan, Laurie, Michael, James, and Mary-Jane, Grandfather to Alexandra, Leanna, Jaqueline, Jennifer, Rebecca, Dylan and Anna. Marion, we were very sad to hear of Mike's passing. Jim and I have fond memories of Mike as a friendly and helpful neighbour. Once when I was eight months pregnant, I was standing on the railing of the deck, trying to break into our kitchen window. I had forgotten my key. Mike rushed over to make me get down. He then climbed up and broke in for me! Mike was always busy, always friendly. We hope that all your happy memories will sustain you and your family during this time of loss. Ester and Jim Jackson

Eno’s Crossing

Take me back
To Eno’s Crossing
Once more stopping
Whistle blowing.

Cousin’s laughing
Water glistening
Boats humming
Skiis skimming.

Peppermints melting
Screen door clapping
Cicadas singing
Suckers sticking.

Canoe gliding
Comics rustling
Incense drifting
Hours passing.

Fingers drumming
Cards slapping
Mosquitos stinging
Elvis crooning.

Blue eye’s twinkling
Laughter ringing
Backhoe revving
Never resting.

Thunder clapping
Lightening flashing
Candle burning
Rain tapping.

Moonlight shimmering
Pines whispering
Fireflies dancing
Memories stirring.

Take me back
To Eno’s Crossing
Once more stopping
Whistle blowing.

In Loving Memory

I don't want to believe it but every time I sit to write this, it sets in more and more. I don't think I'll meet anyone like Michael Lawrence Eno again, someone who put the needs of others above his own, who was giving and loving to both friends and strangers, someone who I can proudly call my Grandpa. Ever since I was little, I never seen my grandfather quit. No problem was too great for him, and if it was, the Eno Meeting table would certainly hear about it. I'm going to miss you so much Grandpa. I pray you and your brothers and sisters are forever youthful at 109 Glenora Avenue. Until I can enjoy a beer with you again, Grandpa. I love you xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Uncle Mick always brought laughter and fun and a sense of a life lived to its fullest whenever he visited Woody and Fran or whenever we heard the stories of his legendary exploits and adventures. His presence is still with us in our fondest memories.

I was fortunate enough to meet Micheal one night when he dropped by one of our Kin meetings years ago. I remember his big smile and twinkle in his eyes as he spoke. I looked over at Susan and her smile was as big as Michael’s. She was so happy to see him. She has told me many stories of her Dad and all the family gatherings and the fun they would have together. As I read her Daughters and other memories I new Micheal was loved so much by his Family. I wish all these wonderful memories will give them comfort in their time of sorrow
